Will a 12 rib fit on an F-body?
I need to get rid of my belt slip. I have been thinking of having a 12 rib pulley (crank and blower) made to replace my 8 rib.
Before anyone asks, I am running the SDCE kit already. According to the formula, I am maxing out the F1 impeller speed, but I am only getting about 12lbs if that. This is on my 8:1 comression 408, but I would think I would get more boost than that out of the F1.
My current pulley combo is 7.25" crank pulley and 4.1" blower pulley (F1 step up ratio of 5.4)
Has anyone else gone with the 12 rib?

I think you can have a 12 rib setup on a F-body. I saw a car at the shop with a 12 rib F1-R setup on it. The new owner doesnt know where the setup came from since he bought the car like that.

I've had zero problems with the 8 rib SDCE set up. Do you have a FMIC?

I had ASP make all my pulleys to spec.
No reason why they cant help you....fast efficient service too.
I have now ordered a couple of new blower pulleys from Reichard. Ive been told, not to expect them in a hurry....but they will be very good when they arrive.

When I put the F1-R in the car... The radiator will be custom to be shorter, but thicker. This will allow a clear space infront of the inlet of the F1-R to fit a 4" 90 degree elbow or even a filter than stick off the front of the car.
