D-1SC w/ 60lb injectors, what mpg decrease?
Trying to get an idea of the difference in mpg that a D-1SC kit w/ 60lb injectors will have on fuel mileage in town and on the highway, given normal "granny style" driving.
I have searched and read, but the best I can find is that mpg is close to stock under normal driving conditions.
I was hoping to get some real world numbers and experience from those who have this kit on a stock cubed engine.
I was always leaning towards turbos but after my t-type I am looking at the D-1SC setup from EPP.
Thanks, James.

If tuned correctly, there should not be a decrease in mileage. Some customers have actually reported gains in mileage. Its really just dependent on your right foot.

It would only depend on your foot and your tune. If you tune it to suck down more gas then its gong to burn more but bigger injectors don't mean anything if the tune isn't changed unless your motor was starving for fuel.

As has been mentioned, with a good tune you won't see a difference is gas mileage. The 2004 C5 Corvette in the project car section of my website that is making over 700 rwhp still gets 28 mpg on the highway. In fact, this customer took it on a trip from Illinois to Virginia with his daughter. Bob
