Upgrade Valvetrain or not
I am gonna do the D1SC thing on my WS6. Is it necessary to upgrade the spings/push rods etc. Or can I just leave the stock valvetrain alone.
If I made the upgrade, would I get more RPM outta my engine?
I would rather just do the Procharger/Clutch only. I have read the sticky about real price of FI. Seems like some things are just nice to haves.
Thx for any info. I know/hope Bob will chime in real quick. Gotta get my items ready for order in february or so.

We have done countless ATI ProCharger installs with these engines without replacing the valvetrain. We've never done before and after runs after swapping valvesprings, but I would suspect you normally would not see a difference in a dyno graph until past 6000 rpm. With better springs you probably could extend your rpm range, but if you have a stock bottom end there is no reason to. Bob
