Default new roots type supercharger smog legal?

i guess someone finally selling the roots type (maggie) supercharger's for our cars, i was wondering u guys think it will pass smog or get a carb #, i live in cali and just had a buddy of mine smog his car and he had a tough time, they were all **** about him having a aftermarket lid i found out that sts is not smog legal in cali only the 04 gto has a carb# so sts is not looking like a good choice for me, i guess i will just have the choice of getting a p1sc procharger, damn i like the idea of having instant boost with the maggie

I'm in southern california and have a P1sc. I'm very happy with it and rarely have any problems missing the "insant boost" that a positive displacement blower provides. The only problem I have is launching on Nittos. 2400RPM and the car bogs, 2600 rpm and spin tires forever.

No, it doesn't have a carb number and probably won't. getting that **** done is pretty expensive and he is a small outfit(i think atleast). it should pass the sniffer, but no the visual.
