Default Cheap Truck turbo setup

Figured I'd throw out a pic of a Truck I'mm working on.It's a 1500 2wd that will be getting a 408ci/ S85 turbo. The truck had some tubular shorties on it.I found the driver side shorty fit's on the pass side easilly, you just have to cut the outlet flange to clear the frame.then the driver side just use a cast manifold which clears the steering rack with ease, but you have to grind the flange to fit the power steering pump.
This truck does not have AC but you can just flip the pass side header to clear.
Here is a pic.

The Z is a long process.I will have it back from the chassis shop in a week or so.Then start the build when $$ is available.

BTW-That is the old 4.8 in the pic.We will clean up the engine bay before the new setup goes in

I still drive my red turbo truck every day. It is at 54,000 miles now, but had to replace pass side ex manifold once. I heard a leaking sound around 45,000 miles, but did not actually figure it out until about 50,000 because it ran good and I was to lazy to look for the noise!! It had cracked the manifold almost all the way around by the outlet, oops!
That truck will be a blast to drive, I love mine.

Our website has some pics of the truck. The gallery section has some movies at the bottom. The 800hp video is my sister truck engine at one of our open houses, the kit is the same except for the waste gate. The internal vehicles has a couple pics of the truck, but nothing of the turbo kit.
