Default Muah Hahahahah...!

Yes that is right gents... she will be taken to the Dyno for tunning this week. I may have he roaming the streets of Central TX for break-in this weekend.

Any reccomendations on break-in for a 408 boosted motor? Everything is new... Turbo and Motor alike.

Oh and yes... this weekend (assuming all goes well) I will post up a thread with numbers and pics of the build.

Steve from PT Motorsports has done 95% of this build... Thanks Steve! PT Motor sports FTW!

Man thats awesome Bro, glad it finally is working out for you. I am very curious to see your Dyno numbers, are you going to use race gas for your dyno run? If so im guessing North of 800rwhp. Also what tires you going to use? Hey man if you can get us a vid of the dyno run, I want to hear that Rear mount scream.

I took it easy on mine for the first 50 miles, only 5psi, check frequently for fluid leaks. Then I started making low boost pulls (10psi) from 50-100 miles. Everything looked good so I cranked the boost and have been driving it since. There really isn't much needed for a breakin other than making sure the tune is good and checking for leaks.

i'd be doing a lot of accelerating/decelerating to break in the rings and seat the bearings well. dont stay at a particular rpm for too long. change oil at 250-500 miles.

then tune and let er rip

Nope... this will be all 93 octane at first.

I am afraid to guess... 408 + Rearmount PT88 + TH400 + Mustang Dyno = Ummmmmm did I mention I am scared to guess? I am scared of having the same problem that Jermey had (Zombie) but I think I have addressed those issues in my build... I am scared of breaking it again... I am tired of it being broken

FI sucks... man I love FI

Don't expect huge numbers like you are use to seeing others post. I made 520 SAE @ 15psi on a mustang dyno and 470 actual. 470 is all it took to get my 3800lb sled to trap 130mph.

my car with a 408/front mounted turbo pte 88 .96 /air to air intercooled/th400/mustang dyno went 920rwhp, never cared to get a pump gas number out of it.
