Default Superman09's Twin Turbo Build Thread (Turbo-Zone Twin Kit)

Hey everyone, well today was finally the day to start cracking into this project.

For some info on the kit...
Full stainless truck manifold twin kit. t3 stage 3 turbos (60mm), tial 38mm WGs, tial 50mm BOV.
For Fuel...
racetronix fuel pump kit, 65 lb injectors
others...
Snow Stage 2 meth inj kit, autometer boost, fuel pressure, and trans temp guages, comp 918 beehive springs.

The motor is the stock motor + these 918 springs that are going to be installed. The trans is the 4l60-e all stock, tranny cooler going on. YES, i am aware it is going to blow right away but we will see and when it does blow i'm going a different route (4l80-e, th400)

The car is going to be a street car, 18's, lowered, track only once a month for fun, not going to be built for the track.

Anymore questions feel free to ask...

DAY 1 (12-16-06)

- Disassemble
-removed stock manifolds, plugs, ALL AC stuff, radiator, front bumper, coil packs, valve covers

The car is ready for the valvespring install, truck manifolds are ready to bolt on, new spark plugs ready to go in, FMIC almost ready to go in, still have some questions on the mounting of it..

Waiting on the rest of my pipes to get here, along with the turbos (housings needed to be switched) and a few other odds and ends to do vacuum refrence, alt relocation bracket, sway bar spacers, and radiator support. Once those parts start showing up we will keep going. Rest of kit should be here anyday, turbos next week along with everything else...

We plan to have this all done before the new year. Keep posted for updates, any questions, feel free to ask!

Here are some pics from today..

Car in the morning before going under the knife.. last moment of NA

Coil pack/valve covers off, ready for springs...

haha yea, we will see. There are some of the BFG DR 2's on there so that should help a little bit. I picked up the new gatorback belt today for the alt relo and some NGK TR6's.

Very cool, on a sidenote, what wheels are those? Are they Fikses? They almost look like the old Snyper wheels.

Curious as to why you removed the radiator?
I didnt think you had to... but then again I only installed the hat parts. Here a pic of how TZ trim their bumper metal...

i removed the rad just for extra room to move around and if i had to do any trimming and such. Figured it'd be easiest. Waiting on the rest of my kit to do further progress. I'll keep you updated! Thanks for the pic Jammer!

Having the extra space with the radiator out is nice for working, plus not having all the parts yet make it hard to tell where everything is going to go exactly.
