Default valve springs on a 1200hp motor???

Hey, any guys out there with 1000-1300hp, what valve springs are you using? Or any specific valve train I should consider? It's going on a 370cid. with L92 heads. Thanks

I would personally use stock rockers, comp stock replacement lifters, good pushrods, and springs with 175-195lbs on the seat.

If I used the stock rockers I would get the harland sharp mod on them.

Yes, I forgot to mention that, but I do think it's a good idea.

What is the harland sharp mod? And is it available for the L92 heads with the offset exhaust rocker?

I have stock rockers, comp R lifters, just not sure what spring's would allow that fast reaction from fast reving. Just trying to get an idea of what people are using, and what works/lasts.

No more needle bearings. Those are LS7's and you must let them know what head they are for. So to answer your question yes. Since I was one of the first to get this done and the stud size differs from LS7 heads to LS1,LS6,LQ9 heads.

My SS makes right at 1K with 18lbs of boost - although I have yet to get the car hooked up at that much boost. We use Harlan Sharp rockers, Patriot gold springs (good to .670 lift), Cam Motion lifters, and W2W oil resricted push rods. All seems to be good

You'd have to call W2W for the exact specs. This is what was recommend for my boost engine.

To limit the amount of oil going to the top of the motor. You don't want to have all the oil in the top of the motor and starve the bottom end.
