Default Front mount single intercooler for Corvette??

I only see one person with one large single front mount intercooler for their Corvette. Anybody else have some experience with one. Are there any cooling concerns and what is the best size for a D1SC on a forged 347? Any help would be appreciated so I can start buying stuff for it.

There are -tons- of C5 guys running FMIC's with ProChargers, Novi Paxton 2000's, and various turbo kits.

I haven't had any cooling issues with mine.

What size did you use? or did you buy an available kit?

From the vendor:

Turbonetics bar and plated intercooler cores, are utilized for an overall core dimension of 3.5” W x 6” H x 27” L, to get the coolest intake charge temperatures as possible. 6061 aluminum end tanks, tig welded complete this single front mount intercooler.

The FMIC was included in my TTi Stage X turbo kit.

I run the twins from the D1SC kit because putting a big metal wall in front of my radiator in AZ is crazy. I never go over 190 and have no problem making power with them.

Look for the A+A corvette kit intercooler. That is plenty for a D1 and doesn't cover the whole radiator.
