Default FI Tune

Look guys, I've been dealing with alot of "kinda" tunes, and I'm looking for a definitive power/daily driver tune. Where do you reccomend I take my car to get the tune? I live in Louisiana... I can go to Texas or I can go south of here to Thunder Racing or Futral Motorsports.... what do you think?

408CI, F1R 15-20 lbs boost, 96# versafueler package... nuff said.

Help!

Thanks in advance....

I had Allan Futral tune mine, definitely a top notch guy!

On the other hand, I also visited Thunder Racing while I was down that way, and was really impressed with what I saw.

I do not think you could go wrong either way. I am running a package similar to you but the F1 on a 408 with the stock computer and 75lb RC injectors.

My first tune was from Geoff at thunder racing. It was a mial order tune, but spoke many times with geoff on the phone and he is a top notch tuner. My tune was pretty damn complicated and he got it close with just a mail order tune.

I also had Allan give me a mail order tune at first, so I could break in the engine. It started right up and had great driveability.

Ed Wright is in Tulsa, OK. However, I would pay the money (to fly him down to you) and have Bryan Herter from PCM's for less tune it. He is without a doubt the best 4th Gen tuner IMO.
