Default STS Kit piping different for verts vs. coupes?

I know that via the STS Turbo website order form...it says to identify whether or not you have a vert or coupe. Well, I have a vert and bought a kit from a guy that had a coupe.
Pipe 4 if I'm not mistaken (long pipe that runs up the driver side) doesn't seem to want to go into the place I'd like it to go. I'm installing it right now and could use some help. Thanks!

I'm at work so I can't look exactly at my car, but don't the vert's have additional supports on the frame of the car that wouldn't be on a coupe?

Yes they do...I think i'm screwed!!!

There are like rails that run down the entire side of the car and the piping just won't bolt up to it correctly. I think I'm going to have to take it to a muffler shop and have them bend it properly .

I was going to fab up the FMIC plumbing anyways after that long pipe...so I guess if it shortens it a little...it's not the end of the word...

I just hate running into these kind of problems though. They cost so much time!

I hear ya man. It'll be worth it in the end. Good luck. By the way, how much boost are you planning on running?

Probably 7psi. I don't have the internal mods like you do though. Our HP and TQ may be similar...although we'll probably have different looking curves.

There is no way that long side pipe will fit. I know how it's suppose to go, but the bends just won't allow for me to bolt it up the right way. I'll have to take it somewhere and have them bend it slightly. Tonight, I'm going to try and figure out exactly how it needs to be bent ...should be incredibly interesting.

Anyone else want to chime in? I'm either going to have to buy those pipes ($$$) or have it re-bent (time consuming).

STS wants $190 shipped for that one long pipe. I'm trying to see if anyone fell into a similar circumstance and would like to either trade, or let me buy it from them for a well reduced price, etc.

Did you get a price on bending the pipe that you have? It shouldn't take too long for a shop to do that, would it?

Probably not, but without me being able to take the car to them to have it done perfectly, it could involve many trips back and forth to the muffler shop, which I really don't have time for. There is another guy that just PM'd me about buying the pipe I do have...so I may be able to recoupe some of my losses .
