Default turbo location

i have a 67 chevy c-10 that i am turbo charging. i am wanting to mount the turbo under the bed on the drivers side, directly behind the cab. maybe like a sts setup. i think the turbo will run cooler, and def keep underhood temps down. i dont think its far enough back that i'm going to lose a lot of exhaust pressure, and i'm not worried about the extra ducting, fabrication, etc. i'm just wanting some opinoins about this versus a frount mount. the truck will be 6-700 hp daily driver thanks

Don't see why you couldn't do, sounds like a cool idea. You could fit a REALLY BIG turbo back there!

That is basicly the setup I have on my '81. It works great! Mine is grafted from a STS setup. I'm nowhere near 6-700HP, maybe 440 or so.
