Default AEM TruBoost

I am looking to buy one of these ASAP. Which of the vendors to the right sell them? I want to support our sponsors! I'm at work and most sites are fire-walled so if you can help me out I would sure appreciate it! Thanks.

How many of the extra features on the Eboost 2 is one really likely to use? How user friendly is the AEM tru-boost? I understand the Eboost is a pain to setup and figure out.

If the AEM can reliably control boost, help spool time, and other basic functions of a boost controller it sure sure seems like a deal for $279 shipped!!!

i have seen some comparision between other boost controllers and the eboost2, and its a great piece of hardware. I remember reading about a setting it has (eboost2) that affects the way a wg bleeds off or hold boost.... yeilds more power under the curve compared to a regular boost controller.

interesting...

Yes the E-boost 2 is far superior and has selectable boost per gear which I thought sealed the deal for me as well. Tough to beat all the features, plus it will control your water methanol as well.

Ok so let me get this straight...

I thought all elec boost controllers held the wastegate closed while the turbo is spooling so as to reduce lag and increase hp under the curve. In fact AEM advertises on their web site that the Tru-boost does just that.

So does the Eboost 2 do this better for some reason?

I do really like the idea of setting individual psi settings for each gear...
And for the record I am not arguing that the AEM is as nice as the Eboost 2, just trying to decide if I can live without some of the eboost's features for $170 less.

However I know you get what you pay for too...
