YSi won't fit the G Trim brackets. YSi can make over 900rwhp, and the T can probably make 650-700rwhp no problem.

So the T-trim will fit under the SS hood with the right brackets? but the YSI will not?

Wasnt the black car with RMCR kit that was posted here a while back, with the custom airbox lid also using a YSi ?
It wasnt using the A2W Vortech cooler either.

Nobody, even RMCR is really sure if the T-trim or YSi will fit under an SS hood. T/A's aren't a problem.

MikeG, so your engine has not been lowered or anything, you are just running custom RMCR brackets?

My old YSi setup was custom mounted down low where the alternator would be.

When I looked in through my SS hood it looked like there was only 1/2" or less clearance between the blower & hood. I really don't like any of the aftermarket hood options that would give the extra room needed. I bet if you wanted it bad enough, you could make that SS hood close on top of a YSi

yea i'm not crazy about the aftermarket hoods either. If there's only a half inch of clearance I'm not sure if that will be enough.

I want to put some clay on top of my hood and see how much clearance i really have.

I believe the ultra z hood will give the clearance needed. The hood I would consider in the Sunoco hood.

LOL

I am gonna see if my buddy will let me put his t trim on my car to see how it fits. I believe the ysi is a half inch taller than the T.

I have no problem clearancing my SS hood I already had to do it for the G trim.
