I want to run a ls moter with a big turbo enough to support 1000+HP I have an s10 that im wanting to put it in. I am wanting to do this after i get out of mechanic school.. My question is how much will it be around i was thinking little over 10,000. Also chime in about what i should use like fuel system and if a2a is good or should I go with a2w this wont be daily driven but i would like to build it as if it were going to be..

do a search buddy, most of your questions are already answered...Also $10k WILL NOT get it done.

$10,000 may cover the cost of the turbo....possibly. Not counting an engine capable of handling that kind of power. Not counting a fuel system that will probably cost a couple grand minimum. Not counting drivetrain that will cost several grand. Not counting the $$ to stiffen a S10 chassis enough to not twist under that power. Haven't even gotten into the PCM/ tuning portion. Not counting the cold-side parts to cool the intake charge.

I have over $14K invested in a car with 1/2 that power. That $14K is for PARTS. I've done all the work myself.

Sorry, but this is totally unrealistic. Use the search and see the ungodly $$ people spend for true 1000+HP machines.

We are not trying to be smart-asses, just this has been asked a lot. Try the link, it may answer some of your questions. And ya, $25K is in the ball-park for going from totally stock to all out racing. for even more trends.
