Default Setting up my PCV. Will this work?

I'm going to plug the TB and run a breather on the front passenger side valve cover port. Install a check valve and Home Depot catch can between the manifold and pcv system to help prevent boost from entering the crackcase.

Will this setup work and would it be a good idea to leave the stock check valve on the car or take it out.

Any help would be highly appreciated. After reading all the threads on PCV sytems I just got frustrated and gave up BTW, I'm going to be running 13 lbs of boost and where could I pick up one of these Check Valves?

I got one from autozone... can't remember the part # though. It's a little silver one. They should have a section in the store with PCV valves of different sizes and shapes. I'd just bring a section of your vacuum line into the store and get one that fits on the line, thats how I did mine.

I wish that there was a sticky that gave a definitive answer in details with pics for each application...Such as front mount turbo, STS, Procharger or other centris, and other applications... I'm a little confused myself and I'm only dealing with a Procharger...

Oh BTW, you gonna have the 76 in for the big day this weekend??

I did more or less the same thing only without the pump or breather. But then I have a s/c. And I stayed away from the breather because I don't like the notion of oil coming out right onto the headers....boosted exh temps are HIGH, fire bad!

Default Sts Pcv

Sorry to bring this up again you guys. Can anyone please help me setup a simple and effective PCV setup. I've tried everything and no matter what I do I keep getting blowby out the breather. I'm trying to work with what I have and thats 2 small Home Depot CC's and 1 check valve. Can somebody please help me out My last setup I ran a check valve between the manifold and pcv along with a Home Depot cc, I plugged the TB and ran a breather right off the passenger side valve cover. Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,
John
