So this actually replaces the stock balancer/pulley?? Basically I am wanting to convert everything to an 8 rib setup instead of the factory 6.

The stock balancer is replaced by the ATI unit. The lower pulley from ATI procharger is bolted onto the new balancer via 3 bolts.

The crank pulley you can get in a under drive 10% or normal.

This is for the F-body's

The vettes have a single balancer for everything. For there conversion, i would recommend the Innovators West balancer which is a over driver unit to reduce belt-slip uptop.

I don't think you will want to use the stock one unless you pin it. It will slip. Is the stock one even up to the task of withstanding the extreme pressures applied to it if you were to go to 15 lbs of boost? The ATI will and you will need to pin it too.

Don't be confused by Jake's response which is correct - ATI refers to two different companies as he refers to them in his response.

Jake can correct if this is wrong but the reason the ATI 8 rib is removeable is to allow different pulley combinations to adjust boost.

ATI ( a different company than ATI (Accessible Technologies) makes the crank pulley. ATI (Accessible Technologies) makes the 8 rib pulley.

ATI 917242 is p/n for Fbody Balancer, you can specify this to be 8 rib if you wish, otherwise it will have std. 6 rib for incoperating the ATI procharger blower pulley to it.
