Default Q trim vs P trim

How much more will a q trim wheel flow than a p trim on a 70mm turbo?

ALOT more. A p-trim on a 70mm will choke off much earlier. Also depends on which Q-trim your are talking. Their are several different versions of them now.

Lets just say the standard or "tradditional" q trim....

How much more power can it support?

If it is a street car, I'd go for the P-trim; if it is a track car, I'd get the Q-trim. The Q will make power much later in the powerband.

I hope your kidding with that statement. On an LS1 their is no much later about anything other then if you slap a Thumper on it.

What I really meant was that if you want to make more top end power, go with the Q. It will be more efficent in the top end than the P. Many say that even the Q-trim is too small, but I would prefer the low end power. ..But it seems not many people use P or Q-trims on LSx motors unless it is remote mount anyway.

And, the guy asking the question has an LT1
