Default Hit 16psi of boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I was getting a bit frustrated for last little bit trying to find that extra boost i should getting with the 3.4 pulley. Went to a front mount, gained a bit, but not a lot. I was just about to buy the SDCE setup, but read a few posts by Jake and Bob, from EPP, and saw that they were seeing a nice gain when changing the inlet hat on the charger. I was really sceptable but thought ac was already out so why not, cheaper than the SDCE. So I installed one today and just as the title says I was hitting 16psi of boost! Thanks to Bob and Jake for the help and pics to show me how to do it ,feels so good! Now I have to watch it a bit till my new fuel pumps get here and it can feed the beast! EPP all the way! Thanks again guys you are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heres a few pics for you all, I also reinstalled the foglamps makes for a cleaner look i think

I pick up a little boost with the inlet hat off but the car really never picks up anything at the track.

I must have a magic inlet hat or something

As long as you are happy

Well if what I have been seeing is true and I am getting 25rwhp per pound of boost then all i can say is, I got 632 rwhp with 10psi last time at 6000, I normally rev to 6500, havent redynoed since. I am losing fuel pressure after 5600 rpms so i have to wait for the new fuel pumps to get things tuned in. But if theory is correct I wouldnt be too shocked to see 750rwhp or more.

nice pick up!!

just curious....at what point will you be running out of supercharger if you say you usually rev to 6500rpms.???
im doin a similer set up only with a 402 and according my calculations with that same size pully and stock size crank pully, the supercharger will be near max (61,000rpms...max being 62000) so this is kinda scaring me cause i wanna be around 700rwhp. unless of course im doin something wrong?? cause i also wanna be able to rev it out to about 6500 if possible without running out of supercharger.
Bob has suggested i go with an F1 but i dont really wanna hack my car up to make it fit if i dont need to.

thanx

I put the foglights in afterward but all i did was fashion up some brackets and weld em to the remaining bumper pieces, had to take 1/4 inch off the back of the fog light brackets to clear the intercooler. with the 3.4 blower pulley and 7.65 crank pulley kp figured I was still 2000 from max impeller speed at 6500rpms. Heads and cam I think play a big role it total power production. I think 700rwhp is totally doable with the D1SC and if thats all I get ill be fine with that haha. If not then I may step up to the F1A at a later point.
