Default Sts Oil Return To Oil Cap Question??

Is there a quick release in the hose so you can unscrew the oil cap? Could I use an air quick release used for air hoses?

Do not use an air quick release, it will "choke" the oil coming back. You can drill and big hole, heat up the brass / metal connector with a propane torch and screw it into the cap (the heat will melt the plastic and make threads). Then use oil grade silicon to seal it.
As for unscrewing it, just leave a long enough piece so that you can unscrew it with out removing it.

I believe every newer sts kit has a quick disconnect already in place, or you can pick up some fittings and make your own but make sure they are ok with oil.

Navymitch12 has the best solution, its best to be moved to the pan, above the oil level that is. The amount of oil being pumped up can cause enough force to blow the cap off. This caused the whole engine bay to have to be detailed, not fun.
