Whats easier to install? Turbo or charger
Hi, I'm thinking in the future to install a force induction, but don't know which. I want something thats pretty easy to install. I know turbos you would have to fab alot of things like if you don't have a turbo manifold then you would have get it customed as well as the pipes and so forth. I sometimes think the turbo set might be harder to install and lots of fabricating to do then the supercharger, considering the charger is mounted by a bracket and as for the turbo is mounted on the exhaust manifold. So,in you guy's opinion would the turbo be harder and cost more than a charger?

finding a reputable turbo company with a decent priced kit will be very hard and MUCH harder to install than a blower kit 9 times out 10

Ditto the above. I really enjoy my FM turbo, but it's been a long, annoying, expensive install. And I actually received all of my parts relatively on-time, which (as I'm sure you've seen from this site) is relatively rare. Go with a D1 or F1, and find a good tuner.

I have to replace exhaust gaskets at every oil change with my turbo kit. I do 1 hour of maintenence on my turbo car for every 1 hour of driving.
I also have a custom built 1 off turbo kit, so it has alot of "issues". I figured that the off the shelf kits might be alittle more reliable.
Personally, I'll never own a custom turbo car again. It's a hassle.

get the supercharger and be done with it, 1/3 of the duct work and it a hell of alot easier to install and tune. I have never seen the point of most f-body turbo installs as most guys rarely max out a D1 anyways, Now those big cube forged cars, thats a whole nother story.
