Default Help me decide

stock 2002 Firehawk and im between 2 choices

1- 408 and an F1 supercharger

2- 370 and an LS1speed twin turbo kit

it will be a street car with around 700-800whp and little drag races so what do you guys think?

You could go either way and have a very fast car, it will be a tough decision!
I think would be up and running much sooner with the ProCharger F1A, than you would with the twin turbo kit. Bob

The reasons I stayed supercharged for the street car.
Turbo negatives-
1-Blistering heat, heat wave when you pop the hood, many things have to be protected from the heat.
2-Lag, I like to stomp it and be gone.
3-Power band. more difficult to control once spooling occurs.
4-Tuning, more difficult
5-Sound, pull into a car event with a blower and everybody knows it, you find out there is a turbo car from word of mouth.
6-No advantage, they sell bigger turbos "and" bigger blowers.

Call up Bob over at EPP he will take care of you, and there are many people on this board that will back me up on this. It is hard to find a shop that is stand up as theirs.

either is a good choice and you got a good company for each to choose from. I would pick like this....s/c if you want badass sound at idle and cruising with an in your face idle and rumble. turbo if you want stealth...closer to stock idle/sound....turbo will be more expensive and take longer. If you are a gadget person...turbo is the ticket....set and forget so to speak is s/c
