Boost Pistons
I have a 94 camaro thats under the knife as we speak. I was planning to run nitrous but changed my mind to charge it. I am planning to run a d1sc procharger intercooled on it.
The car will be a 383 strocker with callies dragonslayer crank n compstar 6.0 rods. Whats a good piston an ring set that can handle boost? Like up to 20psi or more? An what compression should i be at running such high of boost?
Sorry for a ll the questions, but im new to boost!

You know youll need race fuel at that kinda boost right? Also, a D1SC will get you mayebe 14-15psi max, 383 might even be down to 13/14psi with some descent heads. You wont see 20psi from the D1SC IMHO unless you run some very restirictive heads.
Do you want something that will run on pump gas like 91/92/93 octane? What about methanol injection?

We are pushing 24 pounds with 8.8-1 408 ls1 with diamond -34cc coustom slugs. This engine is on e85 though. You would want to stay with lower compression then you can run more boost.
