procharging 422 stroker
i have my TA for a couple of years now i'm thinking of procharging it, but i have never seen a procharger on a 422 stroker why?? who can i talk to from sponsers that will help procharge my 422 TA? i have sent a pm to a well known sponser here but with no answer..
Thanks..

Your 422 should not present any special difficulty for supercharging. I'm running an F1C Procharger on my 427 (4.125 bore x 4 stroke) and with LS7 heads, the combo makes 773 RWHP at only 8 pounds of boost.

It's no big deal, as long as the stroker engine is setup for boost (low compression)
I'm just putting the finishing touches on a 2004 SSR with a 408 stroker and a procharger. I would be happy to answer any questions for you.

i would not put bigger than a 4'' stroke on a lsx based blown car.... unless you bore is larger than or = to your 4.125 stroke....
a bigger stroke makes alot more bottom end which makes it hard as hell for a blown car to hook at the track or street.... if i were to do it again i'd settle for a ls2 motor with the l92 heads and intake and call it a day..

I disagree. First, people are hooking 7 second cars on drag radials, so if you can't hook a 10 second car on some it ain't the engines fault.
Second, no blown motor (unless it just sucks) is gonna hook on an unprepped street. Once you get around 450+ RWHP, traction is controlled by your right foot.

Regardless its amazing that people are able to consistently balance engine power to available traction to run as hard as they do on radials and small tires today.

now you have, morgan arden went 7.49@201mph on 10.5 ET streets at the snowbird nationals, then crashed.
