Default New product: New T4 and T6 Turbo blankets

Well guys, for the folks that have been asking for the T6 blankets for so long for your T91's-T106's and S-thumper series, the blanket is now available. Also the new T4 blanket is larger so it will also cover the PT88's, TV series, Y2K's and also the S-midframe series units as well as the GT42's. Pricing is still TBA, but here is a sample pic. Also these new blankets will lower temps down by 40 degF over the old series blankets. Enjoy.....

The T4's will maybe be $5 more, but I doubt it. The T6's will 40-50 more, since they use twice as much material.

Jerry, you can get the BL T6 blanket, but within a few months you'll get the same result as above. Part of the reason why we no longer are selling those style blankets. BL ,PTK and some other companies such as ourselves buy from the same manufacture. We have now gone elsewhere though and these are manufactured by a new company. Also I have pictures of many returns on those blankets. Same results everytime, including the blanket used on even my own car . Also these blankets reduce temps by 38% and not 25%, so it helps a little more as well.

So the T4 version will fit the S85 and smaller? I have a S76 which I believe is the same external size as S74-S85 units.

Any pricing ballpark on the T4 piece???

Ok, the mid-frame T4/T6 piece will be $179 (Fits, PT88, Y2K's, TV series, S-series, T6 GT42's. The Thumper version is $239 Fits ( T91-T106's, from PTE, ITS, T-netics..etc, S95 thumper's, and all other large frames, and the standard T4 will continue to be $139.

Here are some pictures of it on the Thumper S95, which is a touch larger then the T91-T106 series units.

Yup those are the old standard covers. The gray plastic looking ones on the outside are also replaced by this version.

hmm... I have a brand new old grey one. I installed it last week and haven't even fired the car up with it on there yet. What should I do with it? Sell it before I cook it?

The grey ones still work and they will stay together under normal use. Race abuse though will shorten its life.

As for long term testing, yes they have been tested with awesome results.

My grey one never went bad... Well, it got ruined through a temporary oil leak (long story) and even brake cleaner couldn't get it all off. I screwed it up after a year, but not because it was defective... Trust me, I abused it and it did well.

However, in that pic of Country Boy's, that's a blanket I'ver never seen (color/texture). I guess those are garbage?

I know the blankets keep the heat in and help the turbo to spool quicker but is there any down side of them??Getting the exhaust side too hot or anything?
