Default More Turbo Pics!!!!

These pics are of the 4in. inlet tube. All the cold pipes are done except for the inlets to the turbo's,no biggy. The oil line will be completed tommorow and the flanges came in today for the wastegates,so they will work on that as well.It is so close i can taste it.I almost hate to take it back apart to get it all coated.

I am curious if this is going to raise iat's because of sucking hot air from the radiator? Would it matter if you are running an intercooler? I would like some input on the positioning of the turbos as I am about to start putting together my setup.

Well the air is blowing thru the radiator,so the hot air will be behind the inlet of the turbo's.The turbo's will get the air first as it passes by the intercooler and then to the radiator. You would definatly want to run an intercooler especially with 20psi.Even on procharger kits with corvettes the air filter is placed in front of the radiator. If the inlet to the turbo's was behind the radiator then it would suck hotter air,but not in front of the radiator.Hope this helps.

So you have the inlet of the turbo pulling air from in front of the radiator? It just looks like the turbos will pull air from the radiator, or do you have inlet pipes that go in front of the radiator? It does help, thanks a bunch, Josh

There is 2 6in,long inlet pipe's with filter's that go on to the inlet of the turbo's that sit in front of the radiator. They are just not on in the pic's yet. Will be shortly.
