Arrow FI - What Motor Oil are you running?

Sorry if this has been answered, I tried the search and I guess the system is temp. down.

I have always ran Royal Purple 10w30 but was looking into going to RP or Amsoil 20w50 for this summer. My engine has quite a few miles on it so I would like as much protection as I can get.

Just need a few opinions! My set up is in sig.

Thanks fellas!

I have worked in the oil industry for 5 years now, I strongly advise to stay away from castrol oil, it turns to sludge and breaks down the fastest, I guess it really doesnt matter as long as you change your oil about every 3000 miles though

I am probably not running what most are. When my 383 was re-built for the supercharger, the clearances on the motor were changed to much a much larger clearance setup. I am running 20W-50. Yes it is thick, but it is what my motor shop reccomends for my setup, and it is doing an outstanding job so far.

If you want to run a little bit thicker oil due to alot of miles or low oil pressure run Mobile One synthetic 15w-50 Ive ran it before.
