question about my PCV w/ STS

Default question about my PCV w/ STS

i've been researching this pcv crap for the longest time now and i think i'm understanding it now, but i have a question.

this is how my pcv is currently setup:

TB port is blocked off
Intake manifold port is connected to stock locations (on backs of both valvecovers?) as far as i can see....
then my STS pcv switch is connected, on one side, to the front port on the pass. valvecover, and the otherside is just pinched under the tb not connected to anything.

i have just bought a catch can, and am going to redo it.... but is this current setup bad? i was tuned with this setup on, so would that have any negative effects on changing it?

Do you have any oil blowing into the engine bay? Hows the idle(smooth?) You wont need a new tune for PCV changes. Ive heard this setup works: you dont need to use a pump necessarily

the idle is pretty good, and i have seen maybe a little bit of oil in the engine bay, but not like soaked and dripping... but i was mostly concerned with boosting the crankcase w/ my current setup. i have an idea of what i'm gonna do w/ the catchcan, but i am not sure if it would change the tune at all....
