A 4.00" Eagle 4340 crack
thats alot of crack

seriously though, i just dont like eagle parts. Ive never had any, but IMO i just always try to shy away from the "cheap brand" when building a motor.

There is nothing wrong with Eagle parts. I have used them in several high HP motors with out a problem. Yes there are several other companies out there that make stonger and lighter parts, but you pay the premium.

Anyhow. I would say build it yourself if you can and have the means. Look for deals and save some $$$$ along the way. There is no better felling than being able to say you built it.

better question is can your wallet handle 1200hp?

if your worried about spending 3800 on a shortblock you are going to die once you find out how much its going to cost to get the rest of the car to handle 1200hp

They had problem at the begining of there production run. Look at the dates of the threads you find during yor search on all those eagle problems. I have used eagle components in many of my builds. I have had several motor with eagle components make over 1000 flywheel HP. If you search hard enough you can finda a problem in everything.
