Default Vortech Mondo and race bypass

I'm thinking bout getting either a Mondo or a Race bypass valve. i have heard the mondo online but not the race bypass and wanted to know if the race bypass sounded as good as the Mondo?

incase anyone isn't sure the race bypass valve/BOV is the one with the colored tops. Mondo is just satin or polished.

I would recommend the ATI race valve, you can get it either open or for re-circulating. The quality over the vortech valve is alot better. Push fittings to secure the boost line, full anodize so it looks as good as it performs. This thing is LOUD.

The enclosed ATI race valve sounds like a pissed veloci raptor if you don't connect a hose...you have been warned.

Well, its like a high pitched tooth shattering squeal. Keep in mind its open all the time you're just cruising. It does sound cool when you lift the throttle with some boost.

The Mondo has the street sweeper sound. Great show for the public. Kids love it, and pedestrians turn around to see what is about to hit them.

Which one makes the fluttering sound as you let up on the gas, mondo or race? There was a clip of a black camaro that did it and it sounded awesome, I love that sound! I got the race because it's smaller but I havn't started it up yet to hear it. I will be venting to the open air so it should be pretty loud.

Are there any good recirculating bypass valves that are quiet?
Any reviews of the GReddy or Tial 50mm valves?

Hope this isn't considered thread jacking...if it makes you feel any better, it does contribute to the topic. At least that's how I make myself feel better about it.

Fluttering is caused by the valve being adjusted very tight, to the point where vacuum alone isn't able to pull and hold it open. Its more of an adjustment than a particualr valve itself. ProCharger does not recommend adjusting them that tight.

What to do for a muffler at the end of a hose?
