Default fuel cut 2 step

efilive has a fuel cut 2 step buil into its custom oper. system. Any danger in using this on a tbrake for boost vs harlans spark cut?

It doesnt sound very friendly to cut fuel and lean things out.

Ouch!!! That is no way to treat your engine... I wouldn't do it.... The point of an actual two step is to cut spark and load the engine up with fuel which will spool the turbos... I don't know if it will have the same effect the other way around... Think about it... =)

I've done it before with HPT, and the fuel cut limiter would not build boost and would not hold a steady rpm like a spark cut can. Instead of stuttering at a nearly stable rpm, it would hit the limit rpm, then drop over 100rpm, then go back to the limit, etc. And this was with the re-enable rpm set 1rpm under the cut rpm.

I would not cut fuel when using something that is designed to build more boost in the first place.

No, you don't not use a fuel cut style 2 step. That is for N/A. For a turbo setup the point in the 2 step is to expel unburnt fuel into the runners and then ingnite for heat, which helps spool the turbo.
