Default Lowering Swaybar

Does anyone have any pics of what is needed to be done to the end links once a swaybar is lowered to make the swaybar work? Maybe TT? Are there any Hi-Flo cars out there with the front swaybar on? Thanks

I dropped mine a while back for a different reason... It's a Suspension Techniques 35mm solid bar with poly end links. I used some 1/4" thick x 1.5" flat aluminum to shim it down and used the same endlinks. I don't think it moved the sway bar enough to affect it any. How far are you going to drop it?

We need about three inches however if that is too much to lower it we might put a dimple in the turbo crossover pipe and only lower it say 2.5 inches.

We lowered about 1" for our kits and used stock end links... if you space it down 3" then measure the spacer on the end link and go to the parts store and get one with a smaller spacer.

Thanks! When you say get one with a smaller spacer you mean a shorter end link?

Yes.. If the end link has a 4"sleeve then just get a 1"sleeve or whatever fits the job

I lowered mine about 1.5" with the TTi kit. Made my own spacers. I am not sure how much you can lower it and not have anything bind up, mine was a bit of a bear to get everything lined up with a 1.5" drop.

Yea we are not sure either, but from the pics I have seen of TTi kit it is lowered maybe a little more than two inches and works good. I need 3", but if that is too much we are gonna put a dimple in the turbo crossover pipe and only lower it 2.5 inches. I think when you lower it 3" the ends are in contact with the a arms.
