Default TURBO or SUPERCHARGER?

Heres what Im doing....this will be a STREET CAR ONLY...I will be pieceing the parts together myself and building it myself...I want to retain the A/C, powersteering and everything else.

Ok now with that said, which would be easier and cheaper to do? also which requires less maintenance? I basically want something I can bolt on a pretty much forget about....

My goal is probably 650rwhp MAX....and that will be AFTER my built engine, rear end, and tranny. Im basically looking for something around 500rwhp right now.

It will be intercooled of course and have meth injection.

What do you guys think? ANY input will be greatly appreciated!! Please if you vote please put why you voted for that option....also try not to be partial to one side unless you have experience with both...

THANKS!!!!

Procharger will easily get you there...There's a lot of info out there about this. Just do a bunch of reading...

i voted supercharger, because you mentioned your prioritys are... low maintenance, and you said street car, from a roll the supercharger will get a jump, unless you break boost with the turbo setup...

a D1SC will get you your power levels now, and with more boost later your power levels later... then again a turbo will too...

either way i don't think you'll be disappointed...

Whoops....I voted turbo before I read your explanation. I would definitely go procharger D1SC kit from EPP for simplicity and good value.

Why spend the dough on a built motor and only throw 650 at it though? I did that on my stock bottom....lol.

the turbo market has gotten more cost effective, however prochargers are low maintenance... I was going to go procharger but now that this twin turbo war started I am waiting to see what happens with it (feedback and product reviews)

this debate has been debated to death. try a seach, but it bascially comes down to personal preference.
