Default Coolant temp drop from removing the condenser?

For the guys who have ditched the A/C, how much did removing the condenser help?

Ditching the AC condenser and mounting a couple of fans right on the radiator has me running significantly cooler in stop-and-go traffic... I'd say it's about 25 or 30 degrees cooler. I never had a problem with cooling when at speed.

I was running so hot that I would have never turned on the AC anyway, so off it came.

Are you saying you installed pusher fans in addition to the puller fan or that you installed puller fans to the radiator w/o a shroud?

I'm a front mount turbo, no room for pullers. My kit was designed to (try to) push through the condenser, then the rad. Some guys have it working, but mine just kept getting real hot once I got stuck in traffic.

So I went from wimpy pushers trying to get air through the condenser to pretty big (unshrouded) pusher fans mounted right on the rad.

I am running about 10 degrees cooler on average without the AC system.

more airflow that can pass over the fins will help the heat transfer and yield a lower cool temp.
