Default FI+Shot on Stock bottom end

Who else is running a Wet shot nitrous kit on their FI setup with a stock bottom-end.
How much n20?
How many passes?

I will be installing a wet kit next week with a 35 shot to start. Hoping to drop a couple of tenths. What say you?

Smartass Will kitty litter do?

I know I'm pushing the limits but I'm hoping it holds together for a while. I have undoubtably one of the best Tuners/shops in the country (Rick@synergymotorsports) doing the install and tuning so we'll see.

When it goes I will have an excuse to rob my 401

There are at least two users here in the FI section that run nitrous with turbos.

I think there are many that shoot nitrous into blown motors. Maybe they can chime in...

I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone doing this on the stock bottom, though, but I hope someone chimes in.

Stock bottom end (stock heads/cam/LS1 intake also) + 50 shot (dry) + 7-8psi. Lived for a long time. Picked up around .4 and 4mph shutting the N20 off with a window switch at 6000rpm. Ran a best of 10.50 with the n20/10.96 without. 15lb bottle lasted almost all summer

I like the boost where it is (9lbs+) for my daily driver. 4x4 on the street is hard to beat but I want a little more off the line at the track. I'm hoping a small shot will drop my 60' times a CH and get my trap speed up.

So it's just 9lbs. on the street with the small shot JUST for the track? That may make some sense, but you sure you won't just be tempted to run the small shot one day on the street too?

I make 9.5lbs. peak boost with this setup which is more than enough for the street. I try to keep the racing to the track, I can't say i'd never hit it though

Nitrous and FI work very well together when done right and in moderation.

It'll be "done Right" without a doubt and in moderation for sure, thanks.

Rick @ Synergy Motorsports in Fremont Ca. is starting the install on Tuesday.

So, how much you think it will it help in the 1/4 ?

Hey!
If I ain't tweaking on something I'm tweaking on something else
Yeah, leaving the Meth for sure, that helps on the street with my iat's. As far as the next build goes, I have it in my head what I want already.

A forged 5.7,10:1 CR, 2.9" pulley, 100 shot. Think my level 5 FLT trans will hold up?

I was thinking about a 250 shot on top of the 10 psi. All on a stock bottom end.

While it seems silly to put a small shot on a blower car it really works out very well, when it gets hot out any blower car will drop off like a stone. I ran the 50 shot mostly for the 60' and to keep me well in the 10s when it was hot out (95+). When it was cooler out I never needed it to stay in the 10s. Plus a small shot costs less then a meth kit and was way more effective in the hot weather, if done right it works very well..
