While the boost level will be limited due to the compression ratio, your bigger limitation will be the bottom end. If you have a stock bottom end, you will be limited by its strength. Go too high and you may be building that other engine sooner than you think. So your question should be phrased more like "How many rwhp can I run safely on the stock internals?".

LT1 with the pink pistons and rods can handle 500-600fwhp if everything is right but not forever

Take a look at our '95 formula. The internally stock engine has been on 9 psi of boost for four + years.

Thanks, Bob. Is it still running 368 rwhp.?
How many miles does it have on it now?
I spoke to someone last year who said he was running 450 rwhp on his LT1 (mods plus Procharger), but it grenaded on him after about 25k miles.

Yes, it is still at about 367-368 rwhp. The 4000 stall give it lower rwhp numbers than what it really is producing. This car only has 5000 miles it, a lot of them are 1/4 mile at a time. Bob
