Default high sided idler pulley

KP mentioned one but i cant find it. I know its for a 3.8 engine but no idea what year..s/c..etc

I just bought two from Lee @ ASP. There might be some OEM stuff that works too.

let me make sure im following what we are talking about....

the idler pulley on the passenger side head.... you are putting one on there with higher sides to keep it from "jumping ribs" under quick WOT.... this is what mine does and a manual tensioner is just really expensive...

Worked for me 100%, I used to kick the belt once in a while over 7K when I would hit the rev limiter. It was a 14.00 fix..

I forget the price of the ASP one, maybe $30? I used one 6 yrs ago too. My main belt is moving around.

i just put it on..gates 38009...it is a little bigger but my stock belt does fit. i think my tensioner was more the prob as it would wiggle all around even at idle....replaced it too

mine has movement at idle too... but my accessories only had 45k on them...

I bought the Katech manual tensioner for mine. It comes with a higher walled idler pulley too.

Solved my accessory belt problems.

I havent had to touch either my blower belt or accessory belt for over 7 months now... its great !!!!!
Pity it took so long to get all those things sorted !!
