Default Ring gap different with FI rather than N20?

Is there a difference in the ring gap between a forced induction motor and a nitrous motor? I have a nitrous motor gapped for a 300 shot with hellfire rings. Would this be ok for boost?

From reading various piston manufacturers website It seems that they all recommend the same gap for nitrous as with super/turbo charging.

Yes, although I think Speed-Pro has a lo-boost/lo-squeeze number as well as a hi-boost/hi-squeeze one now, with looser end gaps on the hi.

Your endgap is probably in great shape for boost. Do you know what the top and bottom gaps are set at?

I think it's around .024 top ring and .026 second ring...

If it holds a 300HP shot it should hold a fairly good amount of boost. Id always call the ring manufacturer and ask their opinion though. Takes 5-10 minutes and no one knows better then the manufacturer. (usually at least)
