Default Boost Gauge Installation help

Were do you hook the Boost gauge line to. The instructions say to hook it up to the manifold and that there should be a fitting somewhere to do so. But being my first supercharger install I dont have a clue where it goes. I have a 2000 TA with a procharger with the stock LS1 manifold.

Thanks.

I used the PVC line from the crank. Its on the bottem passager side of the throttle body. You will have to put a pvc check valve on it. i just went to autozone and bought some fittings and made it work. I think its 3/8 tube i used a 3/8 to 1/4 and attached the boost gauge line. Basicly you want to put the boost gauge on a Vac/line.

Ok thanks,

Thats the line that you block off during the Supercharged install right. Or is that a different line. Can I put the boost gauge on the same line that my Proflow bypass valve is hooked to?

The one you block off, you can use too. The line i was talking about is the line below the line you block off. The line im talking about has a ground right next to it. But you could use that blocked off line just as easy. Just make sure you get everything very tight. You dont want anything to blow off. Zip ties for the win

and you can put a line on that bypass valve line too. I just used a "T" ran one to my gauge and one to the bypass valve

Running line is fun. You should get the 3 gauges you need AFR ,fuel press and boost. I drilled a little hole in the wheel well on the driver side. The hole went to the "fake pedel" on my car(m6) The ran it up near the door. Looks real nice.. and near the hood latch is a great place for a ground. At the corner of the hood near the master clynder. is a little hole that i bent out a little. If you need pics i can send you some. tomarrow. There is a million ways people do it.

Yeah if you could send some pics that would be great. I am trying to make everything as clean as possible and would rather ask stupid questions then have stupid results. Thanks for your help.

I was going to get that new msd monitor deal, for the AFR and Fuel pressure and other stuff it does but I dont believe it had boost. I like that option cause i can take it out when I want and make it look like a sleeper or as much as a sleeper as a procharged ram air TA can look I guess.
