Default Synchronic Wastegate

Thought this was very interesting, somewhat like a piston derived wastegate. Not a whole lot of info on it but pretty badass design.

The thing has been talked about for months on some other forums, no results or product yet. But it seems to be an improved w/g in theory

It's been in development for a long time. Even says it is still in the developmental stage on the link you posted. Guy was all over some of the turbo honda sites talking about it.

Either way, I thought it was nifty. And usually nifty = expensive.

From what I remember reading, he was hoping to come in either at or slightly lower than the Tial stuff is currently. I'm hoping he pulls through, as it would be a nice little improvement on current wastegate designs, but nothing completely new.

EDIT-Found a thread.. Sorry if we can't link to other sites, especially hondas

Just run the JGS units. We carry them and they are piston driven and have been before synapse came out.
