tranny, rear end, fuel, and valvetrain first! if you want to run higher boost, then throw in a forged shortblock too! then when all thats done with, you can get the blower, headers, etc! supporting mods first, i learned the hard way!

I would first consider the goals for this car. If he just wants a nice weekend cruiser, he may not want/need a 9". If the power goals are 500-550 then no need for forged bottom end. He could go P1SC and be plenty happy for years. Also what price, ect...

You should ship the car to my brother Bob at EPP so it will be ready for your return home.
I will be there in Iraq this fall, if you are still there we could discuss superchargers over a Pepsi(since they won't let us drink...bastards).
Have a safe trip and thanks for what you do.

you also dont need to buy all of that big stuff at once. just supporting mods like fuel, gauges, valvetrain and some spare money in case any thing breaks. im only looking for 500rwhp with a gtrim on a bolt on car. when i can afford ill be reworking the car from back to front, new rear, tranny, fuel and bottom end. thats when you buy the big headunit and pony up. but for a reliable 500rwhp cruiser, the stock block will do, or if you want to be extra cautious, work in a set of 6.0 heads to drop the compression
