What's the best turbo size for a 346?
would like to know what's the best turbo size for my 346?
I was thinking of going with like a mid frame 88 but would like to get you alls opinion on this. i have all the hot parts and only need the cold parts so i'll be getting that done soon. here is a run down on my motor set up
LME 346 ci iron 8.5:1 cr
lunati forged pistons
callies h beam rods
stock crank
225 trick flow heads
also what do you all think about this tow cams

Best for what?
Best for pump gas? 76mm range.
Best for race gas? 101mm range.
Best for head gaskets? 106mm range.
Best for early torque delivery? 67mm range.
Best for traction? 95mm range.
Best for everything? A compromise between the above that only you can decide how to bias.
In reality, decide how much power you're looking for and then choose a turbo in that range. Don't do it in reverse.

For "only" 900 to the wheels with a stick tranny, a T74GTS would spool quick and achieve that goal. Otherwise, I would go with the ST76. The ST76 will make 1200 fwhp and spool much quicker than any 88mm.
