Question WG spring

Anyone know what # spring comes with a Turbosmart 38mm Street Gate? How much can a E-Boost 2 controller vary boost? I want to run 10-16lbs of boost. Do I need to buy a differnt spring?

Thanks - Ron

Thatll depend on what spring is in there now.

AFAIK the WG comes with whatever spring you specify from dealer. Otherwise 7psi is common as well, but what color is it?

your only supose to doulble the spring. If you are wanting to run 15 psi then run a 10psi spring so you can go as high as 20psi. That's what precision told me at least.

OK, went to the website. There is no color chart, but it says it comes with a 7psi spring (inner). You can buy 3, 5, 10 outter springs. So, that being said, the 7psi spring will support 14lbs of boost? If I buy an outer one, say 3psi than the boost will be adjustable from 10-20psi?? What happens if I would like to lower the boost (like with E-boost 2 controler) down to 5psi? I will probally like to set it up so I have the lowest amount of boost possable in first gear. Is there a way, or does the E-boost controler make it adjustable from say- 5 to 15lbs?

Thanks for the replies, I really apprecitate your guys help!

the spring psi is the lowest you can go...no matter what boost controller you use. So figure spring psi is lowest...double spring psi is highest using a boost controller

I run a 10 lb spring and make 17lbs of boost. I'm going to put the softest spring I can find in it.
