If I used a REAL octane booster, how much timing can I add in boost? The real stuff...not the crap from Autozone. I'm currently at 18 degrees of timing on "93" octane...(stupid ethanol) but curious what I could push if I had enough octane in there. My AFR is about 11.5:1 with the 18 degrees of timing in boost...stock compression.
I've been told that's pretty conservative, which I'm fine with. I'm wondering how many more degrees I could add with "race fuel" in the tank. A degree or so of timing on a FI car can mean good extra power!
