Default My new setup in the works. Have a couple of ?'s

Well as most fo you know I have jumped on the turbo bandwagon. So here is what I have coming with a couple of questions.

Heads:
AFR 225 heads with comp 921 springs
A Bear custom valve covers

Engine:
402 LS2 block
Callies crank
Compstar Rods with L19 rod bolts
Wiesco boost ready pistons(Coated)
NRP piston rings
Durabond coated cam bearings
ARP Main stud kit
SCE titian o ring gaskets
ARP L19 Head studs
Melling high volume oil pump
Moroso LS1 oil pan
Morel lifters
Stock rockers w harlan sharp rollers

Cam Specs: What do you guys think? (Had a PRO spec this out )
Intake duration 228@.050
Exhaust duration 228@.050
IVO 3 btdc
IVC 45 abdc
EVO 50bbdc
EVC 2 btdc
ICL 111
ECL 116
LSA 113.5
overlap @.050 1 deg
comp extreme RPM lobes (#3717)
shim the valvesprings for approx 170 lbs on the seat

Intake?
Dont know if I should go with a Vic Jr/Elbow or just stick with my LS6.

I have the RC 72 # injectors to go with this along with a magnafuel 4303 and nasty fuel system. Of course the twin turbo's will be APS. My car allready has full suspension and a 4l80 and a 3400 pro yank stall. Will the stall be efficient for this type of setup? Or would I need a restall? Also what gearing? I currently have 4.11's in my 9' which I know they have to go. And last but not least what boost controller do I get for this? I am new to the turbo game but I do alot of homework and I am learning slowly. Thanks for your time I am now offically a junkie for boost. And thank god I won the lottery

The eboost is nice, but I'm really leaning towards a Blitz SBC. Good price nd a very well thouggtout system. The cam spec seems about right, but you never know until you try it! That stall is ok, mine is a 3400 aswell for a 4L80.

Seems like you got it worked...

Good luck!

i would keep the stall cause its nice n tight when you start pushing above 800 rwhp that stall will loosen up a little.

man your car is gonna fly.

How fast do you really want to go???

What size rear tires for the track and how high do you spin the motor....

@ 7K rpm's with 3.73's w/ 28's i was bouncing off the rev lim 150ft before the 1/4.... that was 150mph in the 1/4.....
Id say keep the LS6 cause ya really dont need to spend the extra money on the intake.... do 3.50 rear gears and that new Excile Boost controller wich is the newer version of the Innovative unit.....(he left Innovative his design)
Thats what im using......

Id call yank about the converter... was it used for N2O before??? a N2O converter and Turbo should be a totoaly different design..... only one way to find out if ya have a free restall...

The converter was done for my last blower setup. Wow so you dont think I will gain from a vc jr? I figured the 3.50's would be a good bet. My new bogarts will be here next week. I be running 28's Ill look up the excile boost control. Thanks for your time Kyle. I appericate it!

LOL One step at a time. Im going to have to get use to this first Kyle. Im sure your car was a **** to drive the first time you hammered it. In the end a low 9 sec pass will do for me AArons elbow is nice but I will make my own I dont think the 402 will take care of the low end but we will see. Im just going to order it and try it. Thanks for your help and look forward to watching you monster take you into the 8's
