Default what is wrong with my car?

i have a p1 procharger..should be good for up to 430rwhp..im a stock bolt on lt1 and i raced my friends ls1..he has full bolt ons and 3600 stall..

now what i dont get, is i won by 1-2 cars barely..i understand im running a bit rich but what can be the problem? we later raced my friends 375 rwhp camaro and got destroyed. So obviously im not putting down 420rwhp..id say 330hp...

any suggestions?

Judging on that you don't know the car's true power you haven't had it dynoed. Has it been street tuned with a wide band? If it hasn't thats your answer. But i dunno about 430 rwhp at 8 psi from a supercharger on an LT1. I'd guess more like 400.

What trans do you have? Dont underestimate the power of a stall. My turbo car sans stall wasn't a whole lot faster than a full bolt on car with a 4000 stall.

I agree on the rwhp probably being less than the 430 number. Check out our '95 Formula that has an ATI ProCharger P-1SC on it. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...tCar.php?car=7 Bob

Are you using a FMU or did you get the computer flashed? If you are still at stock timing and running 8lbs on a LT1 you will need better fuel.

Stalled LS1's are no joke. I was beating procharged lt1's easily when I was cammed and stalled. You might be running alright, I say take it to the track and find out.
