Default Solid or hydraulic cam

I have a LT1 385 and I am putting a D1SC procharger on it and was wondering which is better solid or hydraulic? Also what kind of cam specs should I look for? Specs on the motor are 385ci afr 210 heads and lt4 intake.
Compression is 9.4 to 1 and it has a th400 trans. Looking to run 18 to 20 lbs.

Thanks

id say solid is more if your looking for performance, but hydralic is less maintainance.
what are you planning on spinning it to? if your going real high yould probably want a SR.

I'll be turning it 6500 to 7000.

Unless I am missing something I would go hydraulic. Less maintenance and those rpms are a breeze for a good hydraulic cam.

yes with that RPM i would stay hydralic,
im goning to be spinning to 7200 and will be staying hydralic
if your over 7500 then i would start thinking about it.
if your planning 8-9 then i would definatly
