Default intercooler hanging low?

i put my front clip on the other day and the motor is still not in the car so the car sits higher of course. but you can see the bottom of my intercooler.. once the body sits lower with motor installed will that cure the problem? (94 z28)

Yours isn't straight up and down though. i can't remember the name of the intercooler i got but its the same kind more less everyone on here got from ebay. I think blown383 has the sameone. i have not put the front air dam back on yet,but like i think i said i had to remove some of the plastic on the underneath of the front clip in order to reinstall it on to the car so that tells ya its low. but i bolted it up in the same way everyone else has on here.. i will try and get pics..

If it's a 12x24 & you cut out the front bumper support & mount it under the top of the support it will hang a little low. I used some 1-1/2 x 1-/12 angle to raise the center of what was left of my bumper support to get up a bit. Still had to cut the bottom of the front facia but the bottom of the IC is even with the plastic. You can kind of see what I did in this pic:

Move it to the nose. I did it on my Procharger setup back in '00 and I never had a problem w/ ground clearance again. Redo the piping while your at it too and get rid of the soft rubber elbows. I picked up around a # of boost b/c one of my elbows was collapsing under boost.

I didn't think anyone had a Procharger setup with the under the k-member setup anymore.

are you talking bout having it slanted towards the nose? this is for a 94 z28 if that matters since you have a newer model.
