the same headers that are good n/a will be good f/i. kooks, qtp or pacesetters
for the y-pipe, depends on emissions and personal taste (ory will be louder and rasper)
catback- one that you like the sound of, gmmg, borla, duels etc.

I've done several iterations of exhaust and this is what I have settled on.
Headers: QTP 1' 7/8" w/ velocity merge
Y Pipe: QTP's ghetto pipe. I welded it together to make it non-ghetto
Exhaust: No CATS. Stock Firebird Muffler.
Used to have a cutout, got rid of it because it leaked.
I used to have a loud free-flowing exhaust. I got rid of it becuase all it did was drop the amount of boost it took me to make the power I wanted. If I was willing to run a couple more psi I could run a nice quiet exhaust and still make the same power.
I like mine quiet.

1 3/4" QTP long tubes, custom 3" X-pipe to 2 1/2" over the axle true duals with 28" magnaflow straight through mufflers. Worked good N/A and even better with the procharger. I believe the more free flowing the exhaust, the better with superchargers.

1 3/4 TTS longtubes, 3" y-pipe, no cats, flowmaster 3"-4" merge, 4" back over the axle, then back to dual 3", old borla muffler, 3 3/4" stainless suv slash tips.

Ever thought about keeping it sounding stock with a Electronic Cut Out after a set of LT's.
With the stock mufflers the LT's should make it sound a little deeper but still give it a stock like sound so when you pull up to some one they have no clue what to expect and then just open it up on them when you run em...

Would 1 3/4 x 3 be enough for a 347 or would 1 3/4 x 1 7/8 x 3 be better?
Just curious, i just remember reading some where that the stepped headers were much better for FI cars.
