I got my track #'s!!!!!!! PSJ, check it out!!!
I got the #'s for you GMHTP, PSJ, can you bring this post to GMHTP attention? Here goes!!! I drove 60 miles to the track, didnt cool the car, ran it and this was how it went.
1st run we wont talk about.(driver error)
2nd run small burn out, 1.98 60', 11.89 @121.13 mph, not bad, best run out of the car, 3rd run, small burn, 2.05 60' 11.87 @ 121.81 better! 4th run, small burn, fog rollin in, end of the night, car hot as hell! 2.18 60', 12.01 @ 123.30 mph, fastes of the night!! Then I drove 60 miles home!!
All these passes where with BF goodrich drag radials, 7 # of boost, granny/lift shifting, peddling the car 1st and 2nd!! car only cool time was in the staging lanes. And the car scaled at 3796 lbs, time for a diet!!!

Congrats those are some good times, now I say you put the ET Streets or QTP's on, drive 60 miles to the track and crack off some 11.0s/10.90's and then drive it home...

6-speed not holding up to all that power...yea, I would highly suggest building it before you try and do 6K dumps at the line...

What all can be built in a M6?
I'm having my tranny rebuilt with viper stuff, but there are not many parts that will fit. I the steel 3-4 shift fork goes in, maybe some berrings and seals but thats about it.
Is there anything else that would make it more bullet proof?
Thanks!

Nice runs
Personally, I think that you are going to need more then high 11 second timeslips to get into a magazine...I would even question whether low 11s would get you there.
No disrespect, I think that you are headed in the right direction with your setup, but I would much prefer to see Matt's car (running 10.00 @ 140+) with some add'l details and pictures of his setup in a magazine.

Im not saying because I went 11's i should get my car in, I was told they wouldnt take her without #'s, now I have #'s!! Not the best but not bad.
I was going easy on the car, shifting at 6000rpm, and granny shifting, ET streets, better launch, and harder shifting, I should be low 11's IMO!! Im happy. and like I said, all with 7-8 psi and still have a cracked header!!!

With good tire,6000rpm clutch dump and powershifting car should be at least a second faster in the 1/4.If you up the boost could have a 10.5 car.If 60fts drop better et will follow.Good starting point
